Hello Lisa, this is Jens from Munich. I have been reading your blog for one week now. I really like it a lot and I think I learn rather a lot about the country Israel and the people there. I don't want to become an ignorant like the journalist you met in the Orthodox service in Jerusalem ;-) I was in Israel twice and will go there this summer for two months. What you experienced at Memorial Day and what you wrote about it really reminds me of the today's situation. The Muslims who are "demonstrating" against the cartoons published in Danish, French and German newspapers and the journalists' opinion that they won't abandon their right to freedom of press, build up the same tension which you described in your blog from May 11.
