I'd like to adopt Ilan as my Zionist hero too! Lisa this was beautiful. It made me smile, it made me cry (beautiful things tend to do that to me as well as sad!), and it made me proud of being secular and of being a zionist and of being in this land I so love, and it made me hope and aspire...for so many things for myself and for us all: peace, tolerance, greater understanding and compassion to name only a few. And you, my dear, are my Zionist heroine!
