I've seen a lot of histrionics over the election results -- as have we all -- so it's refreshing and calming to know that at least one of my friends (and an Israeli, to boot!) doesn't see this as a total disaster. :-) I'm also really glad to know that Hoder's talk went so well, and I adore the Saadi poem. Wow. That's amazing. So much, in so few lines.
