just to clarify a couple of things in case my comment was misinterpereted (and to be clear, i was not responding to Hadas - sorry if it sounds that way!) What I meant was that we can in no way find an equation in suffering - obviously each situation is different due to a number of factors. But the one thing we have in common in any place we live is that nudging feeling of hypocrisy - that we can enjoy our lives, even while we are aware of others suffering in such proximity.
