You are not alone, I voted Meretz when I lived there. I always liked their social positions (and their position on the OT) and the members I met, such as Yossi Sarid, were truly classy. A religious woman who favors separation between religion and state truly is an impressive candidate. Reading a wide variety of blogs over the past year really made me realize that in the "Jewish State" or "Democracy" debate I fall firmly on the side of democracy. I think a theocracy would be a terrible thing.
