Re: Remembering (not hating)

I also spent a great deal of my childhood reading books about the Holocaust, albeit mostly books intended for young audiences, personal narratives, etc. I was riveted by the stories of these young Jewish children, kids "just like me", who were suddenly torn from their lives just because they were Jewish. At the time, I knew all the little details, the names of the camps, etc. It was almost like an obsession.
