Ziad, I have to agree with Lisa. I don't think we can dismiss the power of grass roots movements. It's not immediate change, but it's movement in the right direction. At least it's a start. I am not optimistic about the present but sure as hell hope that the future has more to offer. I find it ridiculous that as a citizen of Lebanon I need to use an anonymous blog name otherwise risk being labeled a traitor, even though I know I haven't done anything wrong (on the contrary). It is a great idea to set up a joint Arab-Israeli planet on the web. I would just hope that it doesn't disintegrate into a typical session on ynetnews or any Arab shisha cafe.
