Funny you should mention "Haifa". My husband (an american) and I were in the city of Haifa last year & some relatives were watching "Haifa", my husband walks in watching her and drooling and professing what a great singer she is and everytime one of us said something "quiet Haifa is singing" He had all of us laughing so hard. A young cousin comes in puts the mute button on the TV and tells him "this is how you listen and watch Haifa" . It made for a memorable moment for all of us and no language barrier needed.
