What a great article. I wish there are more Meir Shalevs. There aren't. On either side. The Syrians still want Lebanon. The extremists still want all of 'occupied' Palestine. China still wants Taiwan. Turkey wants northern Cyprus. Russia wants Ukraine. The Lebanese want Sheba'a. So do the Syrians. And there is no end in sight to the Palestinian-Israeli disaster. I just want a drink.
