ouch. It feels like one needs a degree in Mideast studies to undertand this situation. I have been reading as much as I can, but my head still spins. All I think today is informed by how I feel. Simply, I don't want more people to die. I don't want the angry survivors, radicalized by the deaths of their loved ones, to perpetuate more death.
