Re: Letters of peace
by Anonymous
hello to you all. in 1983 i was 20 and a young italian soldier when i was in Beirut. i came from Italy, my homeland, with Italian Army to keep the peace in Lebanon. That experience changed my life giving me another view of life. Lebanon is in my heart and i feel it like my second country. Maybe you will think i'm a little bit naive, the obvious sentimentalistic italian. I think it is more. It is about how we should solve all the problems and all the contraddictions of our world. Until Israel will bomb Lebanon and Hezbollah will bomb Israel no solution will be possible. there will be people that will die only. My opinion is that every opponent will always find good reasons to use weapons. The problem is that no reason is good enough to use weapons. Never. We have to stop this crazy war first of all, stop killing people. then the opponents will find a solution. we all should know that revenge is not a solution. sorry for my bad english. hope to give my contribution to peace. Sandro (Rome - Italy)
