Here in Canada, we watch, and feel so impotent to say anything that will help bring peace for all the people of Israel and Lebanon. I have a dear friend who will be going to Afghanistan as part of our Peacekeeping deployment. He, like most military personnel has a family, a wife and two teenage boys. We sadden at the very thought of life lost. Shalom!
