This war is not simply a matter of two sides fighting. Entities without any respect for individual rights: Hezballah, funded and supported by Iran and Syria, with Lebanon collaborating, initiated force. Israel is the defender. You want no more war? Then those who initiated the force, with the utter hatred of Jews as their motivating factor and their religious or mystical ideology, have to change. They have to learn that respect of individual rights has to be embraced. They have to undestand and accept, that nihilistic, savage, irrational ideology in the end, is going to destroy them and not Israel. Israel is going to succeed in this existential fight. Why? because it is free people and free systems that have the depth of resources and the WILL to win. Until Israel's enemies accept this, they will have to endure the squalor and justice of their ideology. Hezballah lost this fight. Just look around Lebanon and see what happens when Israel is attacked. Given enough time, the IDF would have completed the job. Time is on the side of Israel, not Hezballah or Iran or Syria.
