This topic is not really related to my post..! I'll provide a brief answer below, but if you'd like more information then please send me an email.
The law in Israel requires that signs for government services, roads and streets be in Arabic and Hebrew. Bills for government owned services like electricity are also bilingual. The private sector is not covered by that law. Thus in Arab towns you will find signs for private services in Arabic only and the reverse in Jewish towns. As I already said, few Jews speak Arabic - which is a shame, in my opinion, but that is the situation. I hope it will change.
