You make a good point here. I had not really thought about those examples (Bosnia, Iraq). I do think there is some merit to the notion that people who have no fundemental dispute can get along if peace is enforced. Maybe Bosnia/Iraq DO have fundemental disputes. I don't think Lebanon-Israel does, for example, whereas I do think Israel-Palestinians do have a fundemental dispute. Something to think about.
