Totally serious. ;) Vancouver has a higher percentage of Chinese-descent residents than any other North American city. I think it was about 25 percent when I was a kid, but there was a huge wave of immigration from Hong Kong during the 1980's and 1990's, after I moved away. I heard somewhere that it was 52 percent - not sure if that's an accurate number, though. Interesting, huh?
