Don't forget about Toronto! Still my favorite Canadian city I know it doesn't have the mountains, and it isn't as cool as Montreal...but Kensington Market, the cinematheque, Chinatown, the Annex, the islands, Harbourfront, all the neighborhoods, Caribana, and, of course, ... Bathurst JCC are hard to beat.
