The real Yonatan Shapira was all over the media a few months ago, back when the song was a hit. He came off (IMHO) as a pompous, incredibly self-righteous tool, indeed concerned that the song would take away from his image as someone who signed the pilots' letter.
Dave, I don't think the line you are talking about suggests an illicit affair per se. Rather, it's a clever feminine variation on the Hebrew expression chaver ze lo kir ("A boyfriend isn't a wall" -- in other words, "So what if she says she has a boyfriend, that's not an insurmountable obstacle")
