Hey Rami, As far as I know, the Shalits have received "assurances" from Hamas and the Egyptian government (which has been involved in the negotiations) that Gilad is alive. But I don't think any definitive evidence has been produced. And I'm sure there's a lot going on unofficially that we won't know about for years - if ever.
