Great comments Zvi. However, like Nir and Ruth below I too think that things are a bit more complicated than than 'Israeli blogger' suggests. One element missing I think is the fact that Arab governments make political use of the general anti-Israel sentiment on the Arab street to divert attention from their own internal issues - see Al Aqsa coverage for example. Also as you know there is some controversy in Egypt at the moment regarding Mubarak's "reform" of the Election system - I believe this issue might also have something to do with the arguments between the opposition and coalition on that matter. By the way one of my favorite parts of London & Kirsenbaum's Channel 10 show is Zvi's little reports from across the Arab world. By the way, Lisa - as strange as this may sound I think you made an appearance in my dream last night (don't worry nothing too naughty:) but I think I might tell you about via email. G
