Israeliblogger, this is bullshit and you should be aware of it. In a democratic system people have more or less leverage and accordingly can force their leaders to pay attention to their needs. The people in Gaza have either no leverage at all with their leadership or they put their notion of "honor" (fighting against the Jews by any means) ahead of other needs. In the first case we are better because our system allows for the people to have their needs taken care off. In the second case Israelis are better on the individual basis because we do not put our thirst for vengeance ahead of other needs. There is no way you can tell me that the Palaestinians or at least their leaders do not have any choice. You strip them of any freedom and independence if you try to sell that they have to send rockets into Israel because they are hungry and unemployed. You also seem top see them as incredibly stupid since rockets do nothing to alleviate hunger and unemployment but rather the opposite.
