"Mentatlity" sounds racist. But there is an Arab sociology. There is an Arab aethetic and an Arab family structure. And all these produce suicide bombing and the general attitude by which what you do to hurt me is more important to you than what you do to help yourself. Many educated people in the west seem not to grasp this, and others just wilfully ignore.
