BV, I was ironic. The Guardian is liberal mainstream in the UK, like NYT in the States. They regularly post comments and analysis that is highly sympathetic to Islamic and Arab radicalism. In fact, occasionally one gets the impression that they value these positions more because of their militancy against the West.
