I think the reason you find nothing new in the article is because you are reading it in your own eyes... the article is about how opinions, very strong opinions are formed by many people without actually knowing the background or thinking about the issue for themselves... The article really has nothing to do with the conflict or new light on it.. it has to do with me telling someone in Europe i'm Israeli and them asking me "Why do you opress the poor palestinians" (which does have a true side) without any understanding of the history of the conflict... with a simplistic view of "Why not declare peace and stop attacking for no reason"
