I believe Zvi is correct. The entire British media may not be hopelessly biased against Israel, but it's not far from it, seems to me. Reuters, BBC and the Guardian fell all over themselves last summer bashing Israel. The IDF deserved some hits, but what these outlets did went way beyond that. And they continue. Hell, even the Associated Press got into it, so it isn't just the Brit media. And the AP stuff finds its way into 1700 US newspapers and 5000 radio stations. Privately owned journalistic outlets are held accountable to some extent by the readers and a few good editors. But the BBC doesn't seem to be accountable to anyone. By the way, ethics is not a part of the curriculum in most schools of journalism in the US. I don't know about Britain or elsewhere. Dan C.
