Re: Poetry for the Road
by
Tamar
Hooray. What a gift you have given us. Thanks so much! The first time I saw this poetry festival hanging from trees on Shderot Chen, I KNEW that Tel Aviv was my kinda town. Guess the powers moved it to Rothschild for greater visibility? Anyway, I loved all your pics, comments, and links. About that fun typo in caption for Adunis;-) ... please leave it!
When I blogged about the temple of the TA Cinemateque -- its library, I listed outstanding films I watched there, among them: Mahmoud Darwish: The Land is the Language. It's in Arabic with subtitles (maybe just Hebrew, I forget). Terrific opportunity to meet, observe, and listen to this amazing man and poet.
