There is a need to protect children but there have to be better ways. One thing that I think would be useful for all parents is to have a dns server that will only know child friendly sites. (if children try to goto adult sites, then it just will not know the ip address of that site and therefore can not make a connection. (which of course the parents can change later if they want)
